unstoppable death machines

UNSTOPPABLE DEATH MACHINES are a blown-out distorto-punk-rock performance based explosion from Brooklyn via Queens. Formed by brothers Billy [drums] and Mike Tucci [bass] in 2008, the tandem has jarred DIY venues, rooftops, lofts, warehouse parties, art galleries and museums—including two hometown performances at the Queens Museum of Art Biennial Celebration—with their brand ofbombastic based punk.

UNSTOPPABLE DEATH MACHINES made their limited debut vinyl pressing, ‘SLUMLORD’ EP (Last Ever Records) available through mail order and at shows. The Village Voice featured the duo and hailed the EP “a rousing success–four blown-out, bass-chuggin’ fuck-it-alls in seven damaging minutes.” The EP was recorded live by Billy and Mike with no overdubs on 2-inch tape in a single caffeine and THC fueled evening at a warehouse studio along the East River in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Video director Scott Cramer captured the duo’s live allure in the video debut of single/title track “Slumlord.”

Live, UNSTOPPABLE DEATH MACHINES stack walls of speakers & amps and use homemade post-apocalyptic face mics to sculpt a sound described by fans as “loud-as-fuck” and pack shows with their raucous energy. The duo has criss- crossed the United States multiple times with self-booked sweat drenched DIY tours, including performances at SXSW and CMJ. They’ve played and toured alongside the likes of Japanther, Zach Hill, Ninjasonik, Shell Shag, Melt Banana (Tokyo), The Death Set, Soft Circle, HotTub, Vacation, Ken South Rock (Tokyo), Fiasco, Naam, and many more.
